Orangeville Furniture is a fantastic place if you are looking for good quality, truly unique furniture. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. We recently purchased a beautiful new couch for our family room and I'm pretty sure the staff pulled out all 500 fabric swatches to help us with our choices. It was delivered professionally and they even offered to put the furniture pads on the bottom for us (the furniture pads we had purchased on our own to protect our floors, but they offered to help to make sure the couch was fully set up before they left). We did notice that the stitching on one of the seams of the couch cushion was coming apart and we received incredible service to repair it. We dropped it off one night and it was ready for us the next day. They were truly accommodating from start to finish and we will definitely be returning!
Customer service really matters when something goes wrong. Orangeville Furniture failed me in many ways. Do not order custom leather furniture from this store. Check your delivery before handing over payment and allowing furniture in. Orangeville Furniture does not check what it ships before it is delivered to the customer. Once they have your money, they do not care if you have what you ordered. I waited more than 6 weeks to give them a chance to come up with what I originally ordered and they wanted me to continue to wait. Their main concern was keeping the sale and allowing their manufacturer unlimited time to correct its mistake. When I insisted on a refund, the owner threatened to call the police. I will never shop there again.
A very large showroom with a lot of interesting pieces. They also have an interior designer for an extra hourly fee. The only downside are the prices which for certain items seem very steep. Anything you need for your house can be purchased here. From bed sheets, paintings, rugs to full living rooms and dining rooms. The sales people are very respectful and don't chase you through the store asking you every 2 mins if you need help. Most furniture can be custom made to your size and your choice of materials. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the overly inflated pricing on some items
All of the staff at Orangeville Furniture were really helpful in getting us exactly what we were looking for. Very friendly and knowledgable. We picked up our furniture and the warehouse staff had everything ready to go and helped load the truck. Overall, a great experience.
I am writing this review on behalf of my daughter who bought her first sofa from Orangeville Furniture (OF). We had heard so many great things about OF. We went to a Tent Sale event just see what was available. To our astonishment there was a great sofa that my daughter, after much deliberation, decided to purchase. She chose her fabric and the manufacturers representative, Cynthia, told her that she had chosen a great fabric. Although it was over her budget, she continued with the purchase. After a couple of months the sofa arrivedtotally gorgeous.Within 3 months the fabric on the bottom seat cushions started to pucker. We contacted OF and were directed to Beth in Customer Service. After an exchange of pictures and telephone calls, Beth empathized with her experience and realized the issue. She contacted the manufacturer who eventually agreed to cover the cost of making the necessary repairs. Beth directed us to what turns out to be the perfect person to make the repairs. Unfortunately, the repairs were undertaken in two parts and there was some dispute about who would cover the cost of the second repair. After a couple of telephone calls, OF, due to the persistence/persuasion of Beth, finally decided to cover all repairs costs.Orangeville Furniture offers great products. However, there needs to be better co-ordination between the manufacturer and the fabric suppliers so that products can be made accordingly i.e. if a fabric tends to stretch more than another then the sofa/chair etc. should be made accordingly. Beth understands this and Beth fought on our behalf to get this point across to Erica, the owner of OF, to do the right thing.Our first experience with OF encountered a few bumps along the road, but everything got ironed out in the end due to the efforts of Bethshe is the epitome of customer service! Orangeville Furniture offers great products at reasonable prices. We have learned that if you are purchasing an upholstered product inquire as to the stretch of the fabric prior to placing your order. If you are not purchasing at Orangeville Furniture then you will not have someone like Beth to help you outif required. Beth was a god-send.
