Great service and exceptional wine list.Pate was great, escargot not that great.Filet was perfectly cooked but not seasoned at all, plate was 1/2 full with mashed potatoes. Ordered trio desert, cheesecake and carrot cake was totally overdone or not fresh. Bread pudding was ok.
Really cute place. I came here with my family after a hike at Mono Cliffs. The dress code is a little fancier than what we were wearing, but the food was really good! Highly recommend if you're looking for a quiet, kinda fancy place out in the countryside.
A quaint place with a rustic appeal. The service is the waitress was kind and she paid attention but the cook who I think is the owner was a tad rude and uninterested. The sights of the birds was there with interesting species showing up. The food was above average. Had the fish and chips, the fish was outstanding while the chips were salty but well done. My other guests were pleasantly fed with the chicken, noting the excellent potatoes that came with it. Nice setting, good food.
Beautiful little spot in Hockley Valley. A cozy, friendly restaurant with great food and great staff. You can sit and watch the birds out the windows and listen to great music Saturday nights as you dine. Highly recommend the fish!
We popped in mid-afternoon for a light snack. It was right before closing time (break between lunch and dinner). Had the soup and salad.Probably that was a bit low-class of usshowing up for a soup, salad and a glass of waterbut you wouldn't know it from the fantastic service we received. They even threw in some fresh-baked sourdough bread!If you love food, then you'll want to come here. Somebody knows a thing or two about the culinary arts, and they're doing it for love, not for attitude, so the atmosphere is casual, but the food lets you know you've arrived somewhere classy.I'm sure this place is well-known, but if not, you need to know about it.We'll be back for a proper dinner next time.
