Nice place to eat. Somewhat fancy. Not overly expensive. Casual food like hamburger and sausage are given a fancy restaurant treatment. Worth the drive especially if you combine it with a stroll in nearby provincial park.
Well what a gem!! Food was wonderful! I had the lamb and it was done to perfection. We had a group of 8 from appetizers through to desert and not a single complaint. And Lori was hands down one of the best waitresses Ive had in all my travels. We will definitely be back. This is a 10 in overall experience.
This is now our Date Night spot. Great country drive and even better food. However, the Bread & Butter pudding is where it's at. I will drive the 60 mins just for that amazing simple dessert. The wine cellar is a cozy intimate spot for 2 or more and makes for a great dining experience. 10/10 always recommend this spot to friends and family
Another great gem north of Toronto. Well worth the drive. Amazing food, great ambiance. Service is great, as with most smaller restaurants, it can get a bit noisy when its busy. The bar area downstairs is very intimate and always busy. They have a great little wine room that can be reserved for private dinners.
I have been coming here for over 25 years. The building alone is worth the trip but the food is always great. Friendly staff. Could do with a better craft beer selection.
