Wonderfully delightful spot. Arrived for lunch. They dont unlock the door till exactly noon which was a bit weird. Once inside we were seated promptly. The building was an old one room schoolhouse. Beautifully decorated and renovated. The lunch menu is around $20 at the top end so its very reasonably priced. Dinner is mid $30s. I had the meatloaf which was wonderful. My spouse had the sole. Perfectly cooked. The service was superb.
An amazing place for family events just be sure to book ahead. The service is spectacular and the food is amazing. Corned beef on rye is delicious and oh so not healthy for you but that isn't the reason we eat out. They helped make my dad's 80th special and we'll be back.
Could not say enough good things about Mrs Mitchells restaurant. My wife and I just had our wedding there and had an amazing time. Heidi made the day absolutely perfect all we had to do was show up and enjoy our day. Heidi and her staff made sure that everything was on point which took all the stress away from our day. Their family home down the road with the beautiful garden was an amazing location to get married with amazing gardens to get photos in front of. The restaurant was decorated beautifully with the rustic feel and warm environment. The food was absolutely out of this world. Not one of our guests had anything to say bad about the food. The guests said that the food was the best wedding food that anyone ever had at a wedding. If anyone is ever thinking about getting married at Mrs Mitchells I highly recommend it. The food the staff the restaurant and the grounds were stunning. Thanks again to Heidi and her staff for doing an outstanding job.
Exceptional meal! and delicious cocktails, we went to Mrs.Mitchell's this Sunday for my daughter's birthday and husbands fathers day. The moment you come into the restaurant it feels like you come to a friends home. We really could not decide what to eat, but we decided on their specials, the meal especially the sole with lobster was delicious, I just kept hearing how delicious it was from my son-in-law. Our other family members had the chicken Parmesan, and shepherds pie! you get amazing fresh cold water and the best warm bread that is beyond delicious. I could not believe how nice the service was, I was supposed to bring my daughters birthday cake, but being 35 Celsius and humid and did not want to chance it. Our server asked if I brought the cake and I said no, it was a nice surprise that we were given a brownie, warm with amazing caramel sauce! whipped cream and berries, that was delicious! The exceptional service did not end when they asked if we wanted a family picture in the garden!, that was so nice! I cannot believe the service, food and warmth of the servers. I want to go back!
Absolutely beautiful establishment! First time there, the set up for our friends engagement party...from decor, food selection and lists of wine choices were phenomenal! 100% going there for our next function and we'll happily sing it's praises to everyone
